Listary Beta (4.00.1156) is available

#####Download link
http://www.listary.com/download/beta/Listary4Beta1156.zip

#####How to upgrade
Do NOT skip ListaryHook.dll*

Download the zip file, extract it, and overwrite your previous beta version. If you have any trouble replacing ListaryHook*.dll, rename the old files to something else manually, and then do it again.

#####Crash Report
If Listary crashes, please make sure you provide additional information and then send the crash report. If I can reproduce the crash on my system, the next version will fix it.

But frankly, your disc whole search could not search all the files I need. So could you think that making a separate tool and providing more fuction is good way?

Also proj is a good idea, only in case you teach us to use…

Thank you!

@cchange

But frankly, your disc whole search could not search all the files I need.

Sorry that I don’t get this. Do you mean some of your files are missing in Listary’s disk search? Could you please give more details?

Also proj is a good idea, only in case you teach us to use…

Type proj to add current folder as a project with the folder name as keyword.

Type proj my_keyword to add current folder as a project with your custom keyword.

@Channing
Well, it is a bit difficulty for you to fix, as it may be the problem of unicode.
problem for Chinese characters:http://www.pic-upload.de/view-17914117/1.png.html
The characters are 测试
I think non-English characters may have the same problem.

Enlish is ok: http://www.pic-upload.de/view-17914119/ok.png.html

by the way, a bigger same bug, but it occurs in inline search.:

I don’t have the old stable version as I deleted before. Of coure I usually type cs instead of 测试.

@cchange

Fixed. Please wait for the next release :slight_smile:

you are wonderful!

In 1124 and 1125 project paths are truncated, dropping off the last folder, when they are used.

Hello, this is by design. “C:\BitNami” shown is the parent folder of the project. The actual path is still “C:\BitNami\redmine-2.2.1-0”.

Hi Channing,

Do you think you can conquer Lucion’s FIlecenter or should I abandon the hope?

Oh, and by the way, did I say please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please-please?

Hello Channing,

a small bug during first automatic start of the tutorial

The Listary window

                  „Listary Hotkey“

Hotkey Win + S is taken by another application

appears in front of your tutorial in englisch language, so the subjacent language select window is too late.

Yours Olaf

Hello Channing,

some Listary versions before it was possible for me to show the listary toolbox permanently with TC x64 8.01. Even when I switch with Alt-Tab to TC the Listary toolbox was shown automatically (remember my last screenshots…).

Now it I cannot configure Listary in the same way :frowning:

I cannot find a relevant checkbox for this feature…

I hope you understand, Listaries toolbox shall even shown when TC is activated, in the same way as the TC CMD Prompt in the bottom.

What’s wrong? My mistake?

Thanks for your tip!

Yours Olaf

Well it was opening the truncated path as well, but a reboot has now cleared that problem. Thanks.

@MincovLaw

Still no luck…

@okiwankenoki

The hotkey dialog is a little complicated. I won’t fix it for now.

I found this feature is not very necessary and removed it.

If you prefer keyboard, you can always use the hotkey to activate Listary.
If you prefer mouse, mouse middle click is the way to go. It’s simpler than clicking the toolbar.

Hello Channing,

is it complicated to make this feature configurable (enable/disable)?

My opinion is: A feature “a permant activated Listary toolbar” is very nice in TC.

On my Notebooks touchpad i havn’t a mouse middle click and WIN-O also doesn’t work :frowning:

Hi Channing, I have a question regarding the options: menus>popup menu: why I can’t assign a the same menus like the toolbar menu. For example I can’t assign a hotkey to display the favorites and although I can set a hotkey to display the recent, actually I doesn’t work.

Can you fix the pop up menu to have the same options like the toolbar menu, so all hotkeys and menus are the same? Thanks.

@okiwankenoki

It’s not complicated, but if configured wrong, Listary will become very buggy: discussions.listary.com/discussion/143\

So I’d rather keep this feature removed, at least for now.

@miked

Sorry that popup menu doesn’t support hotkeys in the current version.

Sorry that popup menu doesn’t support hotkeys in the current version.

Do you plan to add support for it? Would like to see that as well :slight_smile:
