Shortcuts for jumping to recent folder

I noticed this idea had been flagged before (only wanting recent folders):

Is there any way to customize the recent list? I use it all the time, it’s a key feature for me, but I’m really only interested in seeing recent folders. I’d like to eliminate the long lists under “global” and “files.” By the way, what does “global” mean, here, anyway? Thanks!
