Persistant menu option (menu not autoclose after user clicks somehwere else)

Could the following be considered: The menu does not auto-close after the user clicks somewhere else outside the menu. Maybe add an [ X ] - icon on topleft/right of menu.
Makes it easier to do multiple actions without having to re-open the menu.

can you please share more detail about this topic.

Here’s how to reproduce this bug using the calculator feature as an example:

  1. Start Listary minimal launcher
  2. Enter a formula into the minimal launcher textbox, like 5+4
  3. Click another window to lose focus. There are many use cases for clicking away, like copying and pasting a number from a spreadsheet app to continue building the formula that is not yet finished, eg 5+4 *2.534
  • This bug: Listary minimal launcher auto-closes on focus lost
  1. Start Listary minimal launcher
  • This bug causes another one: 5+4 is no longer there. Expect 5+4 to still be there. This is Flow Launcher’s behavior and is much more useful than Listary’s behavior of closing the minimal launcher on focus lost, and then giving a blank minimal launcher upon relaunch.

In fact, it would be more Windows-like to always show the last completion in the minimal launcher textbox if the textbox loses focus instead of being closed by the user. That’s how every other dialog box works in Windows, so arguably, this is not just a feature request, but a UX bug.

Please see below demo I hope you still can address this issue.
