When running an application “as administrator” (e.g Notepad) and then pressing Ctrl-Ctrl to trigger the Listary search-box, nothing happens. This is also the case when running Listary itself as administrator. Everything search doesn’t suffer from this limitation, so my guess is a workaround should be possible.
This, amongst with some other unsolved bugs are causing me to switch back to Everything Search. It’s less feature rich, but it’s solid and fast. I would strongly consider ironing out the kinks of Listary before moving on to new features. I’ll come and have a look again in a few years. Until then, I won’t be recommending Listary to other techies.
