Is it possible to launch app already opened

e.g. I have started chrome and switch to some other app like total commander

then I want to switch back to chrome

I pressed “ctrl*2” and select chrome, but that will open a new chrome instance, which is bad.

so, is it possible to give me a chance to launch these app already opened instead of open a new one.
