. Listary uses everything search to find files which is nice but it doesn’t find text in files. Anytxt does. So I’m wondering if there is a way to integrate it in Listary and you can search with it by adding an a before the search. For example, if I’m looking for the word red in files, I would put “a red” in Listary and it would use the Anytxt engine to find the file where red is found and show the results in Listary.
Actual Listary doesn’t use Everything search at all.
The actual Everything Alpha version can index file content and of course fast search for it.
OK so maybe it’s possible for listary to do the same?
Of course, but thats the decision of the Authors and a lot of coding efforts…
I use Everything for all searching since a long time, it beats Listary in all aspects.
I still use Listary for its suport in Open/Save dialogs
and fast moving inside of file mangers (Explorer, Total Commander, XYplorer).
I do this because I have a life-time pro license and its works flawless.
