Hello there,
I have been using Listary for a while now and it is been a game changer in terms of improving productivity and enhancing my file navigation experience. Although; I have run into a challenge when it comes to search speed when dealing with larger file directories.
The speed seems to slow down noticeably when I am trying to search within directories that contain a lot of files; particularly in my work related folder; which has thousands of documents.
I have tried a few things like indexing only certain directories; but the issue persists; especially when I am searching for specific file types or when I am looking for something across multiple drives.
I am curious if anyone has experienced similar issues and; if so; what solutions have worked for them? I would appreciate any tips on improving Listarys performance with large directories; such as adjusting settings; using specific filters; or making use of any advanced features that I may not be aware of.
Also, I have gone through this post; https://discussion.listary.com/t/v6-3-1-83-beta-released-major-custom-index-and-stability-enhancements-learn-salesforce which definitely helped me out a lot.
Are there any known configurations or tweaks that can speed up the search process when dealing with a large number of files? Or is there perhaps a way to refine the search process; such as excluding certain file types from being indexed or optimizing the indexing process itself?
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance.
