When I do a search and I have several partitions and/or drives (C: D: E: F: G: H: …), I would like to be able to define, before the search, in which locations I want the search to be done.
For example: Search only in C: and E:.
This feature could be created before the search or after the search.
This can be made by the following (example for drive C:)
c:\ your_search
Thank you for your quick response.
I believe my question was not clear enough, given my insufficient knowledge of English.
For example:
I want to search for “Help*.*” on drives C: and E:
As you wrote, I would have to do two searches. One for each drive.
My question is different. I would like to define in advance which drives to search.
Today I have several drives (including external ones): C: D: E: F: G: H: I: J: L: M: N: O:
When I do a query, it searches for all of them.
But I don’t always want it to search all of them, but only some, because certain drives are just backup copies or I already know that they don’t have the information I’m looking for.
You may use Filters and set the drive and more to search.
Unfortunately, you can’t have more than one drive per filter.
So this would require as many filters as there are drives to search.
Maybe the support has better ideas.
