Would it be possible to implement the following?
- Open a folder in Windows Explorer, e.g. Downloads.
- Select one or more files.
- Type m: or c: and enter a fuzzy search string for any target folder, e.g. Camera Doc\.
- Select the target folder from the search results (automatically filtered to only show folders)
- Hit Enter to move or copy the selected files to the target folder.
I think this would be an extremely efficient way for manually sorting files from the Downloads folder to various targets. My current workflow is shown below, but I think the suggested method would even nicer.
Workaround:
- Open a folder in Windows Explorer, e.g. Downloads.
- Select one or multiple files
- Hit Ctrl+X
- Navigate to target folder using Listary
- Hit Ctrl+V
- HIt Alt+Left Arrow
