Feature Request: Context Menu for Recent Files List

Hi guys!

I’ve been using Listary and find it incredibly helpful in my daily workflow—thank you for the great tool!

I wanted to ask if there’s any way to add a context menu to the list of recent files that appears in the Listary quick access menu. Specifically, it would be extremely useful to have right-click options like “Copy Path,” “Open File Location,” or “Send via Email” directly from that list, instead of the current behavior where the file simply opens on left- or right-click.

Here’s a typical situation I often encounter:

  • I recently worked on a file, and it appears in Listary’s recent files list.
  • In my email client, I click “Attach File” and then double-click in the file selection dialog to bring up the Listary menu.
  • The file I need is there, but when I click it (left or right), it just opens instead of allowing me to attach it or view its folder.

If the recent files list had a context menu with additional actions, it would significantly improve usability in these kinds of scenarios.

Is there any way to enable or implement this functionality?

Thank you in advance, and keep up the excellent work!

Best regards,
Oleg

Hi,

I think the scenario you described is really helpful. I’ve made a note of your suggestion and will bring it up with the dev team later to consider whether we might add this feature.

Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you! I think this option could be added to the paid version—it’s a very useful feature, and I’m sure many people would appreciate it.
