Excessive Data use and TCP Connections

I’m a Listary Pro user.

  1. Why does Listary use so much data over the network? Is it because of indexing a network mapped drive? Or because of some listary-core.exe → listary.exe connection?

  2. I see connections to external IPs. Are the connections listary needs to work documented somewhere?

For security reasons I would like to know what Listary is doing.
