is the correct one.

Oh NOOOO! Copy & paste is evil…

A few annotation regarding the new hotkey options:

If I define a hotkey (Win + Q) for the Favorites and Win + S for the Smart commands, they don’t work reliable inside XYplorer.

E.g. I’m in left pane (dual pane view) and hit Win + Q. In 90% of the cases, Listary’s searchbox comes up, with a “q” in it and ofc it displays all files with that letter^^

What works is: Win + W, searchbox comes up, Win + Q to get the favorites menu.
But another quirk, when I use it that way: I press “d2” which brings me to my “Images” folder on the D: partition but after that the focus is on the address bar, instead of the pane.

I’ve overwritten both Hook files this time, so it’s a general error.

Listary is working just fine now with the lastest version of clover.

What? It should be 100% :slight_smile: Please go to Options - By Window Type, select XYplorer, then check “Enable local hotkeys when Listary toolbar is hidden” at bottom.

Restart XYplorer if it doesn’t work.

To fix the focus issue, please download this file: listary.com/download/beta/Listary4Beta1063.zip You only need to overwrite Listary.exe.

@Channing

Thanks, enabling local hotkeys fixed my issue and 1063 fixes the focus problem! Now it’s a real joy to work with v4 (beta) :slight_smile:

Hi Channing,

Any hope to see Listary beta work with Lucion’s FileCenter soon?
Please?

@MincovLaw

Sorry that you have to wait some more. The next few beta versions will focus on Listary’s own disk search implementation.

@Channing

Thank you for your hard work. I got so used to the awesomeness of Listary that whenever I get to use a computer without it installed (or when I am using FileCenter), I feel ripped off :slight_smile:

An absolute must-have.

Agreed - An absolute must-have. Nod

Thanks, enabling local hotkeys fixed my issue

I have to correct myself…

My hotkey for the favorites menu (Win + Q) doesn’t always work.

A scenario:
XYplorer is opened in dual pane view.
Left pane is active.
Win + Q → Favorite menu opens. Fine.
2 x Escape to get out of the menu and Listary’s searchbox.

Now I activate the right pane.
Win + Q → Listary’s searchbox comes up and the literal character “q” is in it. No Favorite menu…

To fix this, I have to open Listary’s options dialog window and click ok.

Back to XYplorer, Win + Q → Favorite menu comes up.

But after switching panes, I happens again…

Enable local hot keys when Listary toolbar is hidden is enabled for XYplorer.

XYplorer 11.80.0109 (latest Beta from today)

@highend

Got it. I’ll change the way hotkey works.

wow! Everything integration is so damn good.
I use Total Commander + Listary to rapidly navigate and open files, etc, etc, and I though that was a quick setup. But now with the Everything integration I only have to search everywhere (inside the current application).

Also very useful as a bookmark replacement under TC, by just searching the folder.

really amazing, thanks for this great app. I own you a lots of seconds of my life.

@Channing

Hotkeys (in XYplorer) aren’t working correctly, even with 4.00.1103 (the issues that I’ve described three posts above are still there). Any chance to get a fix for this in the foreseeable future?

Regards,
Highend

@highend

Sorry that I haven’t thought of a good way to handle these hotkeys yet :frowning:

@highend

Fixed in v1104.

@Channing

Great to hear. Can you upload that version so that I can confirm it? :slight_smile:

@highend

It’s here. Sorry that I forgot to update the post title.

@Channing

Nice, it’s finally fixed. Enjoying it right now :slight_smile:
