Sorry that this beta version takes longer than normal because I was trying to write my own NTFS fast search implementation which needs tons of work. It should be available in the next beta release (so the next beta will also take a little longer…)
When you enter a phrase that matches one of your favorite folders and select one of these and hit return, XYplorer will switch to this directory BUT after this the focus is on the address bar field (and the whole text in it is selected). You have to return (either by clicking or by XYplorer’s keyboard shortcut to your last pane) before you can use the find by type option of Listary again.
This does not happen with normal folders, only with favorite ones.
The new command “…” shows the same behavior which is ultra annoying because it requires you to hit another shortcut / button to get back to your current pane.
Can you fix these things immediately (instead of waiting for the next beta due to a few weeks), otherwise these feature are a bit useless atm…
I assume you use a xyplorer script to that is send to xyplorere’s instance? I can help you with that if you like…
My mistake… To fix this one particular bug you need to overwrite both ListaryHook*.dll files. The “easiest” way is to restart your computer, exit Listary immediately, and then replace the dlls with the new version.

Thanks! I'll let you know if I need any help about XYplorer.
Thanks Channing, replacing the files fixed these issues!
2 things that I found so far:
Typing “cmd” preselects the “Command Prompt” entry. That’s fine. But “cmda” should preselect “Command Prompt (Administrator)” instead of “Command Prompt” as well.
Is there any possibility to get to our favorite entries real quick (e.g. a hotkey)? Or a shortcut key when the listary box is active? I’d like to suggest the command “fav” that pop’s up the list as well. Atm I have to use the mouse to see the list of favorites

Aha, I'll change this behavior.

Currently there is no way to open the favorite menu more quickly, but you can always use search or assign a hotkey to open one favorite folder instantly.

I use a listary favorite system like:
Parent:
&C:\
Subs:
&1 Benutzer
&2 Programme
etc.
Parent:
&D:\
Subs:
&1 Backup
&2 Images
etc.
It would help tremendously, when we had a user configurable shortcut key in Listary, to just open the favorites menu, because from there I just type e.g. D2 and I’m in the Images folder. The good thing to handle these things: They are more visual (I can see where I’ll go) and I don’t have to remember 10 shortcuts (and their assigned folder).
Hi Channing this issue st ill appears to be there:
“Hi Channing, there is a bug I hope you can fix in beta v4. When I go to save a file and navigate to my target folder with listary, if I move the mouse over a file found the list of search results the file I am saving takes the name of the file under the mouse pointer in place of its actual name. This is very frustrating as it means you have to type the file name again. E.g. If I am saving a file currently named “Document 1 May Edit v4” and I want to save it in folder “May Special Documents” when I Everything subfolder search for “May Special Documents” and in the results there is a file “Employee Phone Number Special May List.doc” when the mouse pointer moves over that file name on my way to pointing it to the “May Special Documents” folder the file name of the file being saved becomes “Employee Phone Number Special May List.doc”!? This is why I requested a feature separating found folders from found files in the search! Anything you can do to fix this would be awesome! Cheers and keep up the good work on the beta.”
