# Keep search query when switching from Type Ahead to Launcher/File Search Window

Currently, when using Type Ahead Search directly in Windows Explorer, triggering the global hotkey to open the main Launcher or File Search Window completely clears the typed text. It would be highly efficient if Listary could automatically transfer and preserve the active search query during this transition, rather than forcing the user to retype everything from scratch.
