How to avoid renaming file in "Save file" dialogs?

One minor inconvenience for me is when saving files. Say I have a favorite menu item called “Favorite” and want to get there. So I press Win+W, begin typing “Fa…” Whoops, there is a file in current folder whose name starts with F. So it was selected and its name replaced my file’s name. Is there a way to avoid this problem?

Sorry that this is not easy to fix currently. I’ve added it to the to-do list.

You can try to use Ctrl + 1 to activate the favorite menu directly instead of Win + W. By assigning accelerator keys to your most important favorite folders, you can jump to any of them easily with one keystroke. For example, name a favorite folder “My &documents”, then you can press Ctrl +1 and d to go to it directly.

Listary, first of all, is amazing.

Has this renaming issue been figured out yet? It’s still creates trouble for me.

Thank you!

I’m working on a fix now. It’ll be ready very soon.

Great, this will be a wonderful improvement!
