Find as you type "hotkey"

Hello.
Excuse me if this has been discussed or answered, but i couldn’t find any answers for my question.

In windows explorer, is there a way to enable “find as you type” only after pressing a hotkey? Sometimes i need to go to all files that start with a certain letter, so having “find as you type” enabled doesn’t allow me to do that. Other times i just want to quickly type the name of a file or folder so i need “find as you type” for that.

If this feature is not available, could consider adding a toggle on/off hotkey for “find as you type”?

Thanks!

Listary 6 lists all the files starts with a certain letter in the same order as Explorer, and you can simply select one using Up/Down after typing a letter.

I see. Thank you, i’ll try that with Listary 6
