I’d like to exclude certain words or phrases from a search using a minus character, like in Google Search.

For example, if searching for `example` gives these results:

- Example Image 1.png
- Example Image 2.png
- Example Video 1.mkv
- Example Video 2.mkv
- Example Document 1.txt
- Example Document 2.txt

Then searching for `example -video` would give this:

- Example Image 1.png
- Example Image 2.png
- Example Document 1.txt
- Example Document 2.txt

And searching for `example -2` would give this:

- Example Image 1.png
- Example Video 1.mkv
- Example Document 1.txt

* * *

Or if these were the unfiltered results:

- Example Old Image.png
- Example Old Doc.txt
- Example New Image.png
- Example New Doc.txt

Then searching for `example -"old doc"` would give this:

- Example Old Image.png
- Example New Image.png
- Example New Doc.txt

(By the way, huge thanks for Listary. I use it every day and have convinced a couple coworkers to buy it as well. Their reactions: “20 bucks well spent” and “listary has revolutionized my life”. 😌)

This feature along with other search syntax enhancements are already on my to-do list. They will be shipped in Listary 6.

Thank you very much for spreading the word 🎉!
