Start menu doesn't get indexed unless added as a custom location to index

Hi,

Nothing from start menu gets picked up for me. At the moment the only workaround is to add start menu folder as a custom indexed location.

However, windows store apps are picked up.

All check boxes are ticked in “Launch Apps” section. Even if I add the start menu folder in this section ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/ox1qyt9pd301rxh/Screenshot%202017-05-18%2022.06.13.png?dl=0 ), the app still doesn’t pick it up.

Is there anything I can do to avoid using custom indexed location and somehow use Launch Apps section for it?

I’m using Win10 64bit and the latest Listary version.

Hi,

  1. Is Listary Options - General - Run as admin checked? If so, uncheck it, restart Listary and try again.
  2. Did you make some changes in Listary Options - Index?
