Some suggestions: search suggestions, in-text search, multiple browser search

I’d like tu suggest this features:

  • to show search suggestions for the most important web search (google, bing, duckduckgo and so on…)

  • to search in browser bookmarks

  • to give the possibility to specify the browser which a web page will be opened with. for example, if I enter “ggf Listary”, it searches for Listary with google in firefox; if I enter “gge Listary”, it searches for Listary with google in edge; it would be useful for users with many browsers

  • to search within files like pdf, doc an other text format.

Hi,

1 & 2 will be supported after Listary adding extension support. 3 is possible by adding a custom command for your alternative browser in Keywords - Custom.

At the moment there is no plan to add full content search support for complex formats like pdf and doc. However basic content search for plain text (e.g. txt) may be added.

About full content search, in another discussion I understand that you would have used Windows Search for it. Have you changed your plan?
